Proper PD Value - Guarantee the best vision
PD stands for Pupil Distance, meaning the distance between pupils of right and left eyes. To get the best prescription for the myopes, pupils must be perpendicular to the center of lens. Otherwise, the prism effect might arise and harmful to our eyes. This is why the opticians have to find the center point for the lens according to the PD value of each individual.
In 1993, SABLE conducted a research on a Taiwanese population aged from 20 ~ 43 years old and found that the range of common PD value are from 58mm ~ 65mm. However, the range of PD value for most of swimming goggles produced by other companies are from 67mm ~ 79mm, which are unable to meet the consumers’ requirement.
SABLE swimming goggles insist that the center point of lens should be shifted inward by 3 ~ 4mm to meet the range of PD value of ordinary people. SABLE also has a multi-step adjustable nose-bridge to maximize the visual effect of swimming goggles.
Shifts the center portion of SABLE myopic lens by 3mm to meet the range of PD value of ordinary people.

Normal prescription goggles
The pupils can not match the geometrical center of the ellipsoid lens.
